I found a very informative site about Holistic health!

Being a Holistic Aromatherapist I have come to think differently about the holistic approach to health because I have seen and know more about the two subjects.

While reading "In Light times Year 20, issue 4 Concepts for Conscious Living" I ran accross an article that was headlined "CHEERIOS CEREAL NOW CONSIDERED "UNAPPROVED DRUG" SAYS FDA.

This because the cereal manutacturer General Mills was claiming that Cheerios can help lower cholesterol and saying on their website thatdiets rich in whole grains can reduce the risk of heart diease. The FDA sent them a letter saying that it now is considered an "unapproved drug" and must go to the expense of going through the FDA new drug process.

I think we all can do more to make "our" medical system work better and their home page has links to other sites that trying to do this in a proper and legal way.

They mention that some company that made health claims about fish oil did comply and went thru the process with the FDA and guess what? They proved their claims and now sell their fish oil products legally now at ten times what you would pay somewhere else for the same product because they have to "re coup" the costs of going thru the FDA.

This struck me as the biggest thing about how wrong the "system" is in deciding the "medicines" and other health issues in "our society" at this time. Money talks and the rest of us walks… After all this time of learning from the past to guide us into the future we have come down to a money game by those that have the power to use it and control the system it is not about health it is about money. Unbelievable…

There are some really big changes coming soon and they are going to be for the better for "us" the new society that puts knowledge over greed to make it better for every living being on this beautiful planet Gaia.
